“GUARDIAN” Holds Ngopi Luwak
BULETIN TEKSTIL.COM – NGOPI LUWAK (Ngobrol Persoalan IKA-Luangkan Waktu – Chat about IKA – Spare Your Time) is the theme chosen by the chairman and secretary general of IKA ITT, STTT, STTT Polytechnic Bandung, where the event is an event to hear the desires of the younger generation regarding IKA’s existence and future activities. Last Sunday, Sulandchester Cafe Bandung was chosen as the location for Ngopi Luwak.
Ngopi Luwak, which is coordinated by the Guardian, will be hosted twice due to limited capacity. The first was conducted yesterday for alumni representatives from the 1996-2018 class, and the second will be held next week for representatives from the 1964-1995 class.
Hundreds of STTT Bandung Polytechnic campus graduates, ranging from the youngest class of 2018 to representatives from the class of 1994, attended the First Coffee Luwak activity.
In July, the IKA ITT-STTT-Polytechnic STTT Bandung will have a conference. Okta Sakti, a representative from the 2002 class and the winning team’s organizer, stated that Guardian was present to bridge the gap between the younger and more senior groups.
“Today, Guardian is filled by a team comprised of cooperation between the younger and more senior generations.” Similarly, in the future, we hope that the younger generation can contribute more to building IKA together,” said Okta, the Guardian success team.
The Riady-Ananta candidate duo is devoted to strengthening alumni camaraderie across generations through this endeavor. Ngopi Luwak was filled with pleasant activities, socialization of IKA’s work plans and activities, and questions and answers to the pair of IKA 2023-2027 general chairman and secretary general candidates Riady Madyadinata and Ananta Dwihasto.
Among the activities proposed by the Guardian is the textile clinic, in which IKA may assist graduates who are experiencing technical difficulties at work through a task executor known as T-Coach. Technical support may be offered in the areas of spinning, weaving, knitting, dyeing, printing, finishing, and garment and footwear.
Andriana, a participant who was a representative for class 2006, inquired about the Guardian team’s commitment to student groups, which are now suffering significant difficulty in organizing regeneration initiatives.
“Because we (Riady and Ananta) are alumni who were also students who were active in organizations, hearing about program problems and the regeneration of student organizations is our joint responsibility.” “IKA is no exception,” Riady added.
Apart from that, Riady and Ananta disclosed in their presentation that one of the initiatives they would carry out was briefing for potential graduates. The program will include curriculum vitae creation training, job interviews, career mapping, and other supplemental activities.
Riady-Ananta intends to engage with Human Resource Development (HRD) textile firms to host employment fairs for young graduates and older alumni. Furthermore, they are dedicated to fostering the development of a textile job hunter application system that may connect alumni who are looking for work with some of the necessary characteristics.
Finally, in their presentation, Riady and Ananta declared their goal to maximize the newly founded Prosperous Textile Synergy Cooperative (Syntesa). This was accomplished via collaboration with graduates who have company units in both the textile and non-textile sectors. This is done so that cooperatives can be optimized to increase member welfare.
